Vote Renee Booker for Brown Deer Trustee!

My name is Renee Booker. I have been a resident and home owner in the Brown Deer community for 23 years. On July 1, 2019, I was appointed unanimously by the Brown Deer Village Board to serve as trustee, where I currently serve on the Plan Commission and as chair for the Personnel Committee and the Finance and Public Works Committee. After almost 2 years of service to the Village of Brown Deer, I am running for another term!

I am asking Brown Deer residents to cast their vote for me on April 6th 2021 because I have devoted over 40 years of my professional career to government and non-profit service. I have held numerous positions at the county and state-level such as Director of Fiscal Operations, Budget Manager for Milwaukee County, and Deputy Secretary for an agency within the State of Wisconsin. I also served 10 years as President and CEO of a nonprofit real estate development company.

Outside of serving my community, I enjoy spending time caring for my mother, riding my Harley motorcycle, and playing guitar professionally.

As trustee, I will continue to work with my colleagues on the Board to build on the work we've already accomplished, bring accountability and transparency to the Board, and ensure that the concerns of the residents of Brown Deer are heard.
